Here I keep information on iPod for OJC.

  1. The more the materials available, the better. Some possible sources:
    • Reading of classroom materials.
      • Texts: there are plenty of texts in Integrated reading and writing that can be recorded. This will allow students to review work AND get listening practice at the same time.
      • Recordings of 2nd year listening class. (Topic Studies 3)
        • We had this but what is the corrent state of this?
    • Public domain texts.
      • finding good texts takes time, but they are out there.
      • revising PD texts might be a solution to the problem.
    • Free texts produced by Audible
  2. iPod support is needed.
    • Is there a "Hints and tips" on using the iPod available on the Wilmina Website?
    • Here are some of my suggestions for iPod hints and tips
      • Use of headphones
      • Safety and health issues related to using headphones. Be careful not to play the music too loud. Be careful where you use headphones (for example, one should use common sense and extra care when using headphones in dangerous places.
