Minoo

Getting to Minoo from Osaka JR (Umeda)

Go to the Hankyuu Umeda train station (not the subway umeda train station). This is done by exiting from the Kyoto end of the train and making your way left. That is called the Midosuji Gate South.

As you are exiting JR at the Midosuji gate south, you will be facing Ikari Supermarket which should be somewhere off to your left. Go past Ikari out of the building. As you leave the station, you'll see the stairs connecting to the pedestrian bridge to Hankyuu. Stay on the bridge level and follow the majority of the people who will be going to Hankyuu. Get on a train which goes directly to Minoo (Track 4, Only in the Evening on weekdays from 17:47 to 20:05, roughly three per hour). If not these times, take any train to Takarazuka (Track 6 every 10 minutes) and get off at Ishibashi (fourth stop from Umeda on the express) cross under the tracks to the Minoo line. Get on the train and go to the end which is Minoo (3 stops from Ishibashi). Call me... 072-725-four three three three. My house is but a 3 minutes walk from Minoo station.

A recent accquaintance of mine runs this Indian restaurant and another link
