Answering Essay Questions.

Essay questions come in many types:

  1. Students are given a list of essay questions in advance.
  2. Students choose a small number from a lot of questions.

Always read the question carefully and be sure to answer all parts. Remember these questions:

  1. What parts are there to the question?
  2. Did I answer all of the parts?
  3. How long is the answer supposed to be?
  4. How much time do you have to write it?

Beginning a question:

If you see the question "If you had to choose a concentration today, which would it be? Explain your answer." You would begin with: "If I had to choose a concentration today, I would choose ..."
