2008 AW-Essay 2

June 24 Brainstorming, Outline, Hook and topic sentence, (Include your 6 ideas you had for writing your paper attached to the end)

July 1 Introduction, first paragraph and conclusion (include 3 possible sources in the references).

July 8 First Draft is due at the beginning of class, Peer Evaluation in class (bring your essay 1, so you can use it as a guide to check your first draft). Use criterion to help edit your paper. Include all of your previous materials STAPLED after your first draft.

July 15 Final Draft due. Remember:

• it is due at the beginning of class.
• check your essay 1 and make sure you haven't made the same mistakes
• Include all of your previous materials STAPLED after your final draft. Your final draft is on top and then all of your old materials are attached.
• Remember it is 4 pages and 3 sources. If you have less than 4 pages you will recieve a lower grade. However, length is not the most important factor. A short mediocre paper is better than a full-length paper that is impossible to understand.

July 22 Review Class (I have to go abroad, so this class will be moved to an earlier date)
