20050702PERSONAL RECORD! What a ride. It was a Saturday afternoon, leaving about 6:30 p.m. Rainy season had finally set in, but this was crystal blue with clouds. Temperature about 23 or so. The best weather possible for riding. My riding listening was the end of "The Second Coming of Steve Jobs". Traffic was very light and though I had downed a bit of wine from 4:30 to 5:30 I was feeling spunky, which often happens after not riding for a few days. Basically, perfect weather and a rest from riding gave me the ability to have my best time ever riding back to Minoo. I hope I'll never forget the view along the river, lone rower under the bridge, crisp summer sky, great temperature. Wow, beautiful ride, inside and out. |
