I took a different bridge over the Yodogawa today. I rode down the "city" side farther than usual and than crossed the next pedestrian/bicycle bridge. I had to carry the bike up the stairs and the path was narrow with only a rail and no curb to separate oncoming traffic from non-cars. I barely passed one bicycle going the opposite direction. It looked really tight but allowed more room than I thought. However, it is not spacious enough for any mistakes.

Went back a different way through Toyonaka so I could visit my favorite bicycle shop. Picked up an adaptor for French to American valves. He said he didn't have any, but he dug through a box of parts and came up with one. Cost: 100 yen.
